When is the service available? 

This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Access to live chat with a BACP qualified professional is available for users:

– 12pm-10pm Monday-Friday  

– 6pm- 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  

Alternatively, users can send us a message on the site at any time of the day or night, which will be responded to within 24 hours. 

 

How are users kept safe and anonymous?

Users are pseudo-anonymous. This means you provide a username which is how you are known on the site, without being visibly identified to our team or other users. We have a duty of care to safeguard your wellbeing.

If we are really worried about a user and think that they are at risk or in danger, we in most cases will talk to the individual to gain consent to share their details so that they can be referred to the appropriate services.

 

 

Do you required a referral?

We do not require a referral letter, as you can access the service quickly and easily by going to kooth.com or qwell.io and clicking ‘join’.

The sign up process takes 1-2 minutes and allows you to to maintain anonymity, as no name or contact details such as email are required.
