The Bullying Collection
Bullying is the word we use to describe repeated, unwanted aggressive behaviour. It can take many forms, such as verbal or physical attacks, but it can also be less obvious, such as spreading lies about someone or encouraging others to ignore or belittle them. There is usually an imbalance of power at play – it could be that the bully has greater physical strength, or is more popular, more capable at sports or many other things. There is never an excuse for bullying.
If you or someone you know if being affected by bullying, it can be very upsetting. It’s important to know that you are not alone and help is available.
For instance, you could call the National Bullying Helpline to discuss your experiences and concerns. And if you need urgent support about bullying or anything else, these crisis services are available to help.
Of course, Kooth is also here for you, whetever you’re going through.
We created this Bullying collection to help you understand and deal with bullying and the emotional impact it can have.
