What is Grief?

Grief usually occurs when we lose someone or something we care about. It’s often when a loved one dies, but can also occur when relationships end or when someone you care about goes away or changes.

Grief can trigger lots of complicated feelings, which are often connected to the type of relationship you had with the person you’re grieving for.

There is no right or wrong way to feel, but it’s important to get the right support when you need it. That’s why we put this collection together.

Don’t forget, there are loads more activities to try inside Kooth. Kooth is a free, safe and anonymous online space where you can find support for you mental health and wellbeing. It’s a welcoming community full of young people who may be experiencing similar things. Our team of friendly practitioners are here to listen to anything that’s on your mind, and there are loads of articles, videos and resources to lean on.
